War Propaganda - 10 Commandments

  1. We do not want War.
  2. The opposite party alone is guilty of war.
  3. The enemy is the face of the devil.
  4. We defend a noble cause, not our own interest.
  5. The enemy systematically commits cruelties: our mishaps are involuntary.
  6. The enemy uses forbidden weapons.
  7. We suffer small losses, those of the enemy are enormous.
  8. Artists and intellectuals back our cause
  9. Our cause is sacred
  10. All those who doubt our propaganda are traitors
~ Arthur Ponsonby

Does this sound familiar?
Should be. Because it is the propaganda message that we are being bombarded with night and day by the Western (America, Europe etc.) led media and their governments in collusion with their partners in insanity, the current Ukrainian government and their propaganda machinery.

Before the first world war UK, France and Germany were the great powers of the world. Then vested political, business interests in pursuit of expanding Liberal Imperialism clamoured for war, which Arthur Ponsonby, the principal private secretary to the British minister vehemently opposed.

Ponsonby was isolated, humiliated and harassed by the war mongers and their stooges in the media. Britain went to war and the cost of the war led do to the beginning of the end of the British empire along with the French one.

War does not only drive nations into bankruptcy, and destroys their assets and infrastructure, it eliminates a sizeable portion of the human resources which are the very soul of a nation and its civilisational potential.

A bridge or an edifice can be reconstructed in a few years but to rebuild a civilisation will take at least a hundred years.

Ukraine is led by a comedian, actor, puppet, and a completely incompetent corrupt politician called Zelensky. He is a stooge who is being egged on by American and European leaders to fight to the last Ukrainian so that vested interests in the West can benefit politically and economically.

The West has entered into an economic war of attrition with Russia and a proxy military war through Ukraine and they are certain to lose. But in the end, the West will cease to be the mighty undisputed leaders of the world having squandered their goodwill and wealth for an unworthy cause of pursuing hegemony.

I weep for all the victims of war but it bleeds for the Ukrainian people for the flower of their population, the youth is being extinguished. Ukraine rather than seeking peaceful coexistence with Russia has permitted itself to become a pawn of the West and is proceeding to provoke the Russian bear to embrace certain defeat and dismemberment and possibly its own destruction.

Propaganda results in swaying the majority and locking them into a particular narrative sold to them by the propagandists.
If one find oneself marching blindly with the majority, parroting what they all chant and who they accuse, then we will know that we have been brainwashed.

I believe in searching for the truth. So I search for alternative sources of opinion and analysis, particularly those I may not like or agree with, listen to all sides.

Even though I find myself in the minority, I am reminded of Martin Luther who said, "Here I stand; I cannot do otherwise, so help me God! Amen."

The neck of the bottle is always at the top.

F requently requested to assist organisations large and small, I observe a common and recurring theme.  The issues revolve around the struggle of owners /managers to manage effectively. This is visible predominantly in companies that have started small and are growing, in family run businesses and families themselves. They are invariably puzzled that management approach, style and methods which worked so well in the past, now just don't work anymore. They resort to even more hard work and effort, yet the situation only worsens. Finding themselves in unfamiliar situations they dart here and there implementing fads, half hearted strategies alien to their thinking and character. They do this because they are getting frustrated and doing something is considered better than doing nothing. They change staff and managers. They churn product mix, vendors and even customers and markets. They try so many things but nothing seems to work. They chang...

You have to play the game to win it.

In life its not sufficient to be merely efficient but to also be effective. Someone once asked my father Man Singh ji, 'What is the secret of your success?'  He remarked, "I do not always make right decisions. I make decisions, and then almost always make them right" Read more ..........

The boss is always right

It was in 1502 that the egoistic mayor of Florence (Italy) Piero Soderini was under great pressure. He had appointed a novice to work on a giant piece of beautiful marble to make a sculpture under his guidance. Typical of many bosses Soderini had overestimated his own capabilities and by drilling a big hole in the middle of the block of marble Soderini and the novice had ruined it. Soderini had to find a solution, and  finally commissioned Michelangelo to do a sculpture . Michelangelo agreed and using the available shape decided to sculpt a young David with a sling in his hand. A few weeks later as the statue was finished, Soderini came to see the sculpture for himself. Soderini was pleased with what he saw. However like many patrons and bosses Soderini had to impose his ideas and have the last word. Soderini instructed Michelangelo to change the shape of the nose because it was too big. Michelangelo grasped the situation immediately realising th...
